Reports from the lab

Ralf Ommerborn, master dental technician and managing director of Dentallabor Impladent GmbH:

"If we now take a look at the position of this implant and imagine it were a screwed implant system, then we would have our screw channel at a really unfavourable position. That would mean we had only a quite narrow wafer available to us as the implant abutment. However, the absence of a screw channel means we can create a translation, which actually places the abutment beneath the required position of the crown."

Dentist Thomas Steiger and master dental technician Holger Grundmann:

"Our experience with various implant systems from different manufacturers shows that it is possible to combine simple handling, dependability and aesthetic restorations using the new IQ:NECT implant system. Especially simple handling at the chairside, and significant time savings by not having to screw in and out healing caps, healing abutments and impression posts, ensure economic working. Other advantages include tension-free impression taking and adaptable dental procedures to meet the highest aesthetic needs."
